Coronation Street star Brooke Vincent has given birth to her second child.
The 28-year-old actress, who is already a mum to a son called Mexx, is said to be ‘thrilled’ to have welcomed another baby boy with her partner, Kean Bryan.
The couple have revealed that their newborn son has been named Monroe.
The proud mum of two – known for playing Corrie’s Sophie Webster – has taken to social media to unveil the first snap of her newborn, who was born on May 4.
“In the morning of Tuesday 4th May at 8.14am; the exact same time as his big brother .. our little boy came into the world,” Brooke wrote.
She added: “Monroe S J Bryan you’ve added so much love & happiness to our little family! Me, your daddy & big brother are all besotted with you.
The actress has been inundated with messages from well-wishers after announcing the joyful news on social media.
A representative for the couple confirmed to OK! Magazine that mum and baby are doing well.
“Brooke and Kean are thrilled and mum and baby are settling in well,” a rep told the publication.
Brooke and Kean are already proud parents to an adorable son called Mexx, who is set to turn two years old in October.
Prior to giving birth to her second child, the Coronation Street actress said that she hoped her sons would become best friends for life.
“It’s nice to know I’m having a boy and he will be so close in age to Mexx hopefully they will be little besties,” Brooke told followers in a Q&A at the start of the year.
In the run-up to the birth of her second baby boy, Brooke also kept herself busy as she announced the launch of a successful maternity clothing line with In The Style.
Brooke and Kean met in 2016 and then went on to move in together two years later. The lovebirds appear smitten and couldn’t be happier with expanding their adorable family.
The actress left Coronation Street in 2019 to go on maternity leave after welcoming her first child, with her last scenes airing that October. She is yet to make a return to the soap.
