The young woman who shared the conversation she had with Matthew Perry after matching with him on celebrity dating app Raya has been kicked off the platform.
In a TikTok video, Kate Haralson took to TikTok to “expose” the Friends star, explaining how the two FaceTimed and played 20 questions.
According to Page Six, she has been removed from the app after publicly revealing their conversations from last year, when she was 19.
As Raya is an exclusive app, it was designed to protect the stars who pay to be a part of the matchmaking service.
The 20-year-old, who has never met with the actor, explained: “I should have expected that would happen. I feel fine about it. I never really used it anymore anyway.”
On Raya’s website, they state the do’s and don’ts for being on the app, which includes being over 18 and a strict no racism, bullying or bigotry rule.
“On rare occasions, members do not depict themselves in a manner which the committee believed they would,” their website states.
“In many cases, those people have been removed for violating principles which weaken the community.”
Kate recently revealed that she shared the video on TikTok as she wanted to “expose” how older men in Hollywood are “taking advantage” of young women.
“A lot of people were saying I’m a bully and mean for posting this, and it made me feel kind of bad, but at the same time, I feel like a lot of guys in Hollywood are talking to all these young girls and it’s something that I think a lot of people should be aware of,” she told Page Six.
The social media user, with the username @kittynichole, shared a video of herself shaking her head and holding her hand to her forehead with the caption: “When you match w Matthew Perry as a joke on a dating app and he facetimes you and plays 20 questions with you”
The video was taken of a laptop showing Matthew lying down relaxed and propped up on his elbow for the chat with her.
Matthew smiles as he asks his date: “Do you always play with your hair this much?”
She giggles as she answers: “I guess so.”
