Bollywood superstar Anil Kapoor, who is fresh off his family drama Juggjugg Jeeyo alongside Kiara Advani, Neetu Kapoor, and Varun Dhawan, shared his secret behind his fitness at the age of 65.

The 65-year-old actor, who is one of the fittest actors in Bollywood, shared with his fans his fitness routine, from getting proper seven hours of sleep to playing darts to keep his concentration and focus in check at the beginning of the day. In a video shared on Instagram, Anil can be seen doing various exercises like cycling, weightlifting and more.

He captioned the post, “The grind that comes before lights, camera and action,” the video opens with Anil checking his phone to see the exact duration of his sleep. He reveals he slept that day for around 7 hours and 24 minutes. He is then seen throwing darts to improve focus. The sport gives a “competitive” start to his day. One of his friends reveals, “Of course, Anil is winning this always.”

He further reveals in the video, “For me, fitness is feeling good about myself. I try and balance it with my workouts. It is important for me to be fit enough to face the camera. My trainer Mark makes a plan for me, and I do exactly what he tells me to do.” But the actor shared that he gets scared when his trainer Mark and his son Harshvardhan Kapoor sit together to chalk out a fitness plan for him.

“Combination of Mark and Harsh are very lethal. When they sit together I am very scared as I don’t know what plan they are going to come up with for me,” Kapoor shared in the video.

He further stresses how eating right is important to maintaining a healthy lifestyle and how diet is the key. “I think diet is more important sometimes than working out. Food is not for taste but its for you to build your strength and stamina. You consume as much as you need for your body as well as for your mental and physical strength. That’s what food is for. So, I think diet is the key.”

On the work front, Anil Kapoor was most recently seen in JugJugg Jeeyo.
