After an extended hiatus of 3 years due to the global pandemic, Respawn Entertainment and EA Games are back with the massive 2 million USD prize pool Apex Legends ALGS event.
The Apex Legends Global Series, or ALGS 2022, will have 40 teams competing for the top World Champion spot at Raleigh, USA, starting July 8. After battling it out for almost a year in the preceding Preseason Qualifiers, over 40 teams have qualified for the main event, and have been divided into four groups of ten teams each.
Apex Legends ALGS Schedule and Start Date
The second Apex Legends Global Series Championship is divided into 3 separate stages, the Group stages, the Brackets, and the Finals.
The 40 teams will compete in the championship that starts on July 7 and based on their performance in the group stages, the teams will then compete in the Bracket Stage’s double-elimination bracket, which begins on Friday, July 8. After playing through the Bracket Stage for two days, the top 20 teams will advance to the Finals, which are slated to take place on Friday, July 10.
