Farhan Akhtar’s much awaited action drama, Toofan was supposed to release worldwide on May 21, on an online streaming platform. But because of the current situation in the country, Farhan Khan and the producers of the film have decided to postpone the release till the situation turns for the better.
The actor shared an official statement on social media that read, “The situation in India is truly heart-breaking, and we at Excel Entertainment and ROMP Pictures send our thoughts and prayers to everyone affected by the pandemic. In light of the severity of the situation, our focus is completely on the pandemic and supporting our employees, their families and in helping the wider community. Therefore, we have taken the decision to postpone the release of our film, Toofan until the situation improves”
He further added that one must observe COVIF appropriate behaviour, register for vaccination and wait for their turn to get the shot.
