The Ndola Metropolis Council has introduced that it has commenced consolidating the varied Constituency Growth Fund (CDF) funding purposes and proposals made by the residents residing or working within the 4 constituencies of Ndola.
Authorities has elevated the quantity of the CDF from K1.6 million to K25.7 million per Constituency.
The Fund has since advanced with an expanded scope and elevated price range allocation with elevated emphasis on enhanced group participation in figuring out native improvement priorities.

Ndola Metropolis Council Public Relations Supervisor Rebecca Mushota stated the varied proposals and purposes have been submitted by the Ward Growth Committees (WDC) to the council for onward submission to the CDF Committees.
Ndola Metropolis has 4 constituencies specifically Ndola Central, Bwana Mkubwa, Kabushi and Chifubu.
Ms. Mushota stated the response from the general public has been optimistic as a result of about 3,000 purposes have been obtained from the residents in Ndola.
For Kawama Ward, the council had prolonged the deadline to Tuesday, April 19, 2022.
“The Ndola Metropolis Council is consolidating the varied Constituency Growth Fund (CDF) funding purposes and proposals made by the residents residing or working within the 4 constituencies of Ndola. The varied proposals and purposes had been submitted by the Ward Growth Committees (WDC) to the Ndola Metropolis Council for onward submission to the CDF Committees. The 4 constituencies are Ndola Central, Bwana Mkubwa, Kabushi and Chifubu.Following the deadline for receiving purposes, the Division of Metropolis Planning is now consolidating the purposes,” Ms. Mushota stated.
“For Kawama Ward, the deadline is tomorrow, Tuesday, April 19, 2022.The response from the general public has been optimistic as about 3,000 purposes have been obtained from the residents in Ndola. The purposes are for training bursaries, group tasks, loans and grants for particular person companies, ladies and youth teams,” she stated.
