Proposed adjustments to considered one of New Plymouth’s important roads are out for session.
New Plymouth District Council has put ahead security enhancements round New Plymouth Women’ Excessive College, overlaying Mangorei Rd between the Northgate intersection and Warangi St.
The council stated within the 5 years to April 2021 there had been 14 crashes on the route, not together with these on the Mangorei/Northgate intersection, one involving a bicycle owner, and lots of extra close to misses.
The proposed enhancements would add a pedestrian crossing with visitors lights and an off-road devoted cycle lane.
